Fire Rating Steel with Intumescent Coatings
Whether you are an architect, specifier or engineer we can supply an intumescent paint that will provide up to 2 hours fire protection rating and prolong the structural integrity of steel when faced with a fire. Water and solvent based intumescent coatings are available to meet your specific fire protection rating needs. When it comes to intumescent coatings low film thicknesses and fire protection time are extremely important. By providing intumescent paint with low film thicknesses we can shorten application time and lower cost while giving you the required fire protection rating. We provide trained applicators to apply the intumescent coating system on-site or off-site.
Fire Paint can now supply a Water Based Intumescent Paint that can provide 60 min Fire Rating in just one spray coat. (DFT dependant on HP/A)

The low loadings combined with a high solids content means this intumescent coating gives 60 minutes fire rating in just one spray coat (DFT dependent on Hp/A), to all standard rolled 3 sided beams and most standard rolled columns when applied by airless spray (it can also be brush applied).In turn, these low film thicknesses speed up the drying process which is becoming more popular as construction time is of the essence! Developed as a water based intumescent coating, it is free from health and safety issues and is also environmentally friendly.

Fire Paint supplies Intumescent Paint approved by Certifire Australia giving you added security and peace of mind that the intumescent coating system has been manufactured, supplied and installed at the level of quality required to perform at the appropriate level of fire rating. Certifire provide training for application of the Intumescent Paint and provides documentation certifying the product, supplier and Applicators of the Intumescent paints.
